Xero says it needs more traction in the US before floating there

Xero [NZX: XRO] is postponing a United States float for at least another year, with founder Rod Drury admitting his company needs to prove it can make it in that market first.

“I think we have to demonstrate traction in the US.”

Xero updated customer numbers, saying they had hit 540,000
