Xero boss talks up new investors, addresses pre-announcement share surge

Software firm Xero [NZX: XRO] will be eyeing potential acquisitions after raising $US147.2 million from two US investors, chief executive Rod Drury says.

He has also moved to dispel any suggestion last week’s spike in share price was in any way connected to the share placement announced this
