The deck chairs are moving again in the biggest shakeup in the New Zealand wine since the takeover of Montana Wines in 2001.

Ironically, Lion Nathan lost the tussle over Montana, selling out to Allied Domecq, which later onsold to another multinational, French-based Pernod Ricard.
