A Wellington grande dame is about to disappear.
The iconic Kirkcaldie & Stains [NZX: KRK] department store, which has dominated Wellington’s premier shopping street, Lambton Quay since 1863, will soon be no more.
The store will be taken over from mid-2016 by Australian department store chain
