Wealthy Kiwis behind Nosh buy

New chairman sees Australian expansion opportunity for upmarket grocer. UPDATED with Tim Cook's view.

A group of high net worth New Zealanders are behind the $4 million acquisition of troubled grocery chain Nosh from its owner Veritas Investments.

The deal is led by Sydney-based New Zealander Andrew Phillips, who will become chairman of the revamped business.
