US President Donald Trump imposes global 10% tariff

US President Donald Trump has confirmed the country will introduce reciprocal tariffs on countries around the world, saying they will bring stronger competition and lower prices for consumers in the US.

That includes a baseline tariff of 10% globally, which New Zealand exports will be subject to.
