UPDATED: Veritas shares plunge on profit warning

UPDATE 5.30pm: Veritas shares closed down 42%, or 21c, to end the day at 29c, valuing the company at just $12.6 million.

Trading volume was a modest 168,762 shares, representing about $57,000 worth of shares changing hands.
