Heartland suffered "teething problems" with its new banking system.

Heartland Bank’s [NZX:HBL] first-half net profit growth was subdued by a combination of doing more lower-risk, lower-margin business, teething problems with its new core banking system and higher charges for bad debts.
The bank’s net profit for the six months ended December rose to $31.1 million
