Uber's new chief executive, Dara Khosrowshahi, has apologised following Bloomberg's revelation that data from 57 million Uber driver and passenger accounts worldwide was stolen by hackers.
Uber identified the hackers and paid them $US100,000 to keep quiet. It concealed the data breach for a year
