Turbine maker gets injunction on Contact Energy deal

Transfer to rival GE halted pending trade secrets trial.

Engineering firm Siemens has won an interim court injunction preventing rival GE from examining a gas turbine it acquired from Contact Energy’s [NZX: CEN] decommissioned Otahuhu power station.

GE signed a deal to buy the turbine on May 13 but the purchase was challenged by the turbine’s maker
