Trustee Association sued over spam invoicing

Group had billed charities for services it didn't sign up to.

The Department Internal of Affairs is taking legal action against the NZ Trustees Association for illegal invoicing after it billed charities if they failed to opt out of an email service they had not signed up to.

The association, which has the legal name of the NZ Trustees Association
