Trade Me fee changes to sting big sellers

Under the new fee structure, users who sell items for $500 or more will be stung with higher success fee charges than the ones in place now.

Changes to Trade Me fees will hit the big sellers the hardest, with the success fees for big-ticket items to increase.

The online auction site has announced from February 1, it is scrapping its tiered success fee system for items sold for more than $200.
