Trade Me boss: 'Constraint' on preferred share offer to members

28,000 of Trade Me's 2.8 million members will get a preferential share offer - giving them the the chance to buy into the auction site's public list at its set initial price of $2.70.

With the listing (reportedly) heavily over-subscribed, it's possible Trade Me's share price would head north
