TPP 11 designed to woo the US back to the table, Bill English says

The deal would give New Zealand exporters better access to some lucrative markets, including Canada, Mexico, Chile and Japan.

Prime Minister Bill English says the TPP 11 has been designed in a way so the US could rejoin the deal at any point.

In fact, part of the motivation for getting the deal off the ground so quickly is to attempt to woo the US back to the table, he says.

His comments follow New Zealand
