Taxpayer foots legal bills for Viaduct and Mutual directors

The taxpayer is financing a substantial amount of the legal bill for the directors of Viaduct Capital and Mutual Finance, whose nine-month trial brought against them by the Financial Markets Authority was aborted last month.
