The Taxpayers’ Union and its sister group the Auckland Ratepayers’ Alliance are claiming a comprehensive victory over the reviled Taniwha Tax.

It has been dumped in the Unitary Plan recommendations from the government-appointed independent hearings panel, which heard 250 days of public submissions
