Synlait's forecast fill dairy producers with dread
A near-30% drop in forecast milk payout by independent milk company Synlait has taken Federated Farmers aback.
Synlait has confirmed this year’s total payout of $8.31 per kilogram of milk solids.
But at the same time it warns its forecast for next year’s is now $5 kg/MS, revised down
