Stink bug ‘knocking at the border’ puts $4b of exports at risk

A new report suggests $4 billion of export value and 60,000 jobs are under threat.

Horticulture New Zealand chief executive Mike Chapman says $4 billion of exports and 60,000 jobs are at risk if the brown marmorated stink bug becomes established in New Zealand.

Mr Chapman's comments come ahead of a report commissioned by Horticulture New Zealand from the New Zealand Institute
