Sky TV confirms MediaWorks acquisition on the cards

Australian media reported Sky is in talks to buy MediaWorks.

Sky TV has confirmed it is in exclusive negotiations to acquire the MediaWorks radio and outdoor advertising business in New Zealand.

Yesterday, the Australian Financial Review reported news of Sky's interest, saying MediaWorks’ owners – California’s Oaktree Capital and Sydney’s Quadrant
