Sky TV increase no cynical pre-RWC price pump – analyst

3.7% rise in line with inflation, increasing cost of programming, says Arie Dekker.

Sky TV [NZX: SKT] is increasing the cost of its basic and sports packages for residential customers.

The increases, which kick in June 15, bump up the Basic cost by $1.15, to $49.22, and Sport by $1.61, to $28.29.
