Sky tries to limit Olympic footage use, stoush ensues

If Sky won't shift on usage terms, disaffected New Zealand media outlets will have to suck it up or stay home.

Less than three weeks before the start of the Rio Olympics, major Kiwi media companies are locked in a dispute with Sky TV [NZX: SKT] – which holds the exclusive New Zealand broadcast rights to the Games – over footage from the event.

The nub of the issue is the International Olympic Committee
