Sichuan Airlines confirms first Chengdu-Auckland service

The Chinese airlines will be the seventh flying direct to Auckland Airport from mid-June.

Fears of further cutbacks in Chinese airline services to Auckland may be overdone with confirmation a seventh airline will commence flights in mid-June.

As first reported by NBR last October, Sichuan Airlines will fly three times weekly from Chengdu from June 13. It will use an Airbus A330-200
