Scentre Group ploughing $790m into Newmarket sites to create 'living centre'

Once developed, the centre is expected to turn over about $600 million.

Scentre Group has unveiled plans for its $790 million redevelopment of Westfield Newmarket shopping centre in Auckland.

The new “living centre” will be opened at the end of 2019, with an Australia-owned David Jones department store as the anchor tenant, a new format Farmers store, Countdown
