Scales' boss remains optimistic after first-half profit drops
The team did well to salvage the crop after bad weather, managing director says.

Scales Corp first-half profit was down but the team did well to salvage its crop, with apple volumes just marginally below last year’s record volumes, its boss says.
The 120-year-old agri company’s net profit in the six months to June 30 was $29 million, down 14% on the same period last year.
