The Saudi businessman whose farm is being gifted $7.45 million by New Zealand taxpayers is also a stakeholder in the Hawke's Bay company contracted to deliver goods and services for his gulf state farm.

About $6 million has been allocated to contract Brownrigg Agriculture to develop the consortium
