Residential property asking prices end year on a whimper

TradeMe sales show property prices in Auckland may finally be dropping - with special audio feature.

Residential property for sale settled in December indicates the year ended without the roar witnessed throughout the year.

The average asking price of houses in Auckland rose only 0.2% while the rest of the country reduced by 0.4% when compared with November.
