Reserve Bank likely to stick to the caretaker spirit

Economists all agree no OCR change this time but views diverge markedly further out.

The market is expecting the Reserve Bank to sit on its hands on Thursday when it reviews its official cash rate setting in the face of lower than expected inflation despite faster than expected economic growth.

The OCR sits at a record low of 1.75% where it has been since November 2016.
