Research project could spark new exports for diabetes prevention

Scientific research is underway that could help Kiwi exporters develop food and beverage products aimed at preventing Asia’s tsunami of diabetes.

The $3 million, three-year research project is part of the High-Value Nutrition National Science Challenge and is investigating the so-called “TOFI”
