Race car and entertainment entrepreneur Tony Quinn is developing a new racing entertainment facility at Remarkables Park near Queenstown airport.

The $7 million electric go-kart circuit incorporating tunnels and ramps is due to open on June 20.

He says it is similar to his indoor go-kart business
