Queenstown hotel sells for 50% gain

Transaction follows related party purchase of former Dorchester Property Trust asset last year.

Auckland-based property investor Mark Francis has bought the Goldridge Resort hotel in Queenstown through a family trust for about $12 million, 50% more than it sold for a year ago.

The hotel, on the Frankton road between Queenstown and the airport, was previously part of Dorchester Property
