Orion Health and government invest millions in using people's healthcare data to predict their needs

Orion Health chief executive Ian McCrae says the listed company and New Zealand have the chance to be "world leaders."

Orion Health [NZX: OHE] will provide the majority of a $23.8 million investment to promote the new area of “precision-driven” healthcare, which aggregates people's health data.

The seven-year programme will cost $37.8 million, with the government stumping up $14 million of that amount.
