NZ economy forecast to grow 4.2% in 2023

Today’s Budget is forecasting the economy will grow strongly in the year to June 2023, but economic activity in the years beyond that will be more muted.

Under its forecast, the economy will grow 4.2% in the 2023 financial year, but fall to 0.7% the following year before rising gradually to record
