Net migration numbers ease as tourists rise to record levels
Work-visa migrants are rising but departures are increasing as well; annual tourist numbers reach a record 3.8m.
Net annual migration continues to fall while visitor numbers are continuing to rise, latest official figures show.
Stats NZ says a record 3.82 million visitors arrived in the year to March, a rise of 8%, or 276,200, compared with the 2017 March year.
Meanwhile, net annual migration fell 4400
