Most expect GDP to accelerate but some hold contrarian views

Will Real Estate Institute figures show the housing market has revived further?

Economic growth figures for the December quarter will be one of this week’s highlights, despite their rather historic nature.

The Reserve Bank is forecasting the economy grew 0.7% in the quarter while market consensus is for a slightly firmer 0.8% increase and annual growth of 3.1%.
