Michael Hill International [NZX:MHI] will continue to stick with its US expansion strategy despite slow progress, which it hopes will pick up in the second half.

The jeweller reported group profit rose 5.1% to $A24.9 million in the six months to December 31, from $A23.7 million in the same period
