Meridian teams up with small community-owned windfarm in Australia

A logical step for Meridian, says CEO.

Meridian Energy’s Australian arm has teamed up with a tiny community-owned windfarm near its own Mt Mercer windfarm.

The Hepburn Wind farm about 90 minutes from Melbourne has just two turbines, Gale and Gusto, which generate 4.1 megawatts, sufficient to power about 2,000 homes.
