Megaupload 2.0 crowdfunding: Dotcom misses $7m target but hits $1.4m minimum to unlock cash

The Kim Dotcom-led effort to crowdfund "Megaupload 2.0" and "Bitcache" has missed its $7 million target but topped the $1.4 million needed to access investors' money. 

The campaign has just closed with $1.6 million from 354 backers
