McConnell puts Orange-H construction arm in receivership

Orange-H owes about $30 million but has receivables and bonds worth more than that.

McConnell Group has put the Orange-H Group in receivership because of what it calls predominantly a cashflow issue.

Orange-H is the McConnell subsidiary formed last year when the bulk of the Hawkins business was sold to Downer and it consisted of a number of projects not included in the Hawkins
