Libel tourism: Did Chris Cairns choose the best place to sue?

Chris Cairns was awarded £90,000 ($NZ178,000) damages in his High Court libel action over an accusation of match-fixing, plus £400,000 costs.

The case also raised the issue of so-called "libel tourism," and whether some countries are a softer-touch those seeking damages.
