An Auckland lawyer who owed Inland Revenue money has successfully challenged his bankruptcy because of the IRD's  ‘considerable’ delays.

Earlier this month, lawyer Peter James Boylan opposed the IRD’s application to bankrupt him on the grounds the notice served on him was invalid.
