The founder of two Auckland charter schools says Education Minister Chris Hipkins promised a transition for charter schools.

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and Education Minister Chris Hipkins have "gone against their word," the founder of two charter schools says.

Yesterday, Mr Hipkins said the government would issue notices of “termination for convenience” under charter schools’ contracts by the middle of May.
