Japanese brewer Kirin Holdings is testing the market appetite for its Australian dairy business, the Australian Financial Review reports.

Kirin, which bought National Foods in 2007, has about 19.1% of the Australian dairy market, making it the second-largest player behind the Murray Goulburn
