Judge opts for split trial in leaky schools case

Justice Sally Fitzgerald has agreed to a split trial for the Ministry of Education’s $1.3 billion claim against Carter Holt Harvey in relation to 833 leaky school buildings – the largest product liability claim ever made in New Zealand.
