Joyce says 'unique aspects' force closure of Cadbury's Dunedin factory

Some 70% of the company's production was sent to Australia.

Finance Minister Steven Joyce says the decision to close Cadbury’s chocolate factory in Dunedin next year is “unfortunate” but “understandable.”

The surprise decision was made public yesterday. Some 362 jobs will be lost, with 200 going at the end of this year and the rest following in March
