Jilted Lochinver suitor wants to buy 1% of Australia

But the Aussie government has put the potential Chinese land grab deal on hold pending a review.

The proposed sale of Australia’s largest landowner, S. Kidman & Co, bears a striking resemblance to the almost-sale of the Lochinver in New Zealand last year.   

Kidman’s board announced this week it has signed an agreement with Chinese-based Dakang Australia Holdings and ASX-listed investment
