IRD blocks OIA release on foreign trusts

Information could prejudice the Shewan Inquiry, it says.

Inland Revenue is refusing to release information about its analysis of foreign trusts, saying to do so could prejudice the Shewan Inquiry and “have a detrimental effect on the integrity of the tax system.”
