Inflation's back, and further rate cuts are off

Housing-related costs pushes CPI above 1% for the first time in two years.

Price inflation is back. 

Driven by a 3.3% surge in housing and household utilities prices, the year-on-year consumer prices index is now 1.3%.

That is a marked jump from the previous annual figure of 0.2%. It is also the first time in more than two years the CPI has gone into the Reserve
