Industry body pushes for more detail on tourism tax

The head of a tourism lobby group is calling for more details on the government’s planned tourism tax, saying as it stands the plan “simply won’t work.”
Labour promised to invest $75 million a year in a Tourism and Conservation Fund, funded through a $25 per person border levy.
