Home lending rates dip to record low level

New Zealand’s mortgage rate war is heating up again up as a kiwi bank drops its lending rate to below 5%.  

Invercargill-based lender SBS Bank has dropped its fixed five-year home loan interest rate to 4.99% per annum for lending more than $100,000.
