Harmoney appeals ruling over credit fees

Court of Appeal to hear major p2p lending case.

Peer-to-peer lender Harmoney has filed an appeal against a court ruling that puts it under the regulator's purview.

In May a High Court judge ruled in favour of the Commerce Commission’s interpretation of the law, finding Harmoney’s platform fees were credit fees, meaning they must be reasonable
